Bill Cornelius — Founder & Owner

In 1992, Bill began his company as a carpet cleaning business servicing residential and commercial buildings around the entire Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. In 1995, Bill expanded C&C’s service capabilities and focused the company on disaster restoration services. Through hard work, dedication, and excellent customer service, C&C has thrived in the disaster recovery marketplace. Bill continues to actively manage the business and strives to ensure that C&C is an innovator in the disaster recovery industry. Bill grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and he is married with children.

Hector Argandona – ES Division Manager

Hector is a graduate in accounting, obtaining his degree in Bolivia. Prior to joining C&C twenty years ago, Hector worked as a Master Water, Fire & Smoke Restorer and Textile Cleaner. He believes in having a strong work ethic, honesty and integrity and is motivated to grow and learn. Hector loves to spend outdoor quality time with his family.

Donna Stukes – Director of Human & Financial Resources

Donna was the Potomac (MD, VA, WV, NJ, Multilingual) Resource Manager for Verizon Telecom, prior to joining the C&C team in 2017. Donna is currently the Human and Financial Resources Director. She has a bachelor’s in business and several HR certifications for organization and employee development. Donna enjoys all types of music and plays five instruments. Family and Faith are most important to her.

Erika Prate – Director of Administration

Erika achieved a bachelor’s degree from UMD College Park in Spanish and Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. Erika is the Director of Administration and has been at C&C since 2016. She enjoys the Washington Capitals and spending time with her cat, Buddy, and her Beagle dog, Koda.

Ray Walters – Construction Division Manager

Ray is the son of a union carpenter and has always had a passion and appreciation for building and design. He’s a proud graduate from the School of Hard Knocks; prior to C&C, Ray had a 15-year career in Flexographic Printing and graphic design. Ray has served C&C for 15 years and currently is the Construction Division Manager, holding a WRT, ASD and SRT certification. Ray loves music (he’s a part-time DJ), travel, hiking, cycling, kayaking, skiing (anything outdoors) and time with family. He’s the father of two daughters, Kaitlin (22) perusing a degree in Nursing at George Washington University and Hailey (20) pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at UMD.

Mike Matthai – Vice President of Business Development

Mike joined the C&C Team in July 2010. His focus is to lead the BD team based off the company’s core values, and above all ensure we provide excellent service to our residential and commercial property management customers. He has acquired multiple industry certifications, including- WRT, MRT, ASD, FSR, and LEED GA. Mike grew up in Westminster, MD and attended Towson University earning a degree in International Business. During college, he studied abroad and interned at the US Export Assistance Center. He enjoys continuing education by participating as a GA in training classes, seminars and giving talks about related experiences over his 25 year career. He has worked in four fields since graduation, electronics distribution, building material distribution, and back-up power generation. Mike lives in Lutherville, MD with his wife, four children, and a dog.
